Malachite Memento Urn

A$500.00

Hoya Ceramics by Anna Bradbury
Memento Mori Collection

“These urns are crafted from a warm, toasty-coloured clay and feature beautifully faceted external walls, all glazed in a satin “malachite” green. The term "malachite" is derived from the Greek word for green, "mallache," and references a precious stone that holds significant historical meaning. Among ancient Egyptians, malachite was known as the "God Stone," believed to be a powerful symbol of life after this world. It was often worn as an amulet to protect the bearer from harmful thoughts and malevolent spirits. Additionally, the lid is designed to serve as a candleholder, for memorials.”

Ashes can be placed in a zip lock bag inside a calico bag.

Dimensions: H 15cm x W 10cm
Capacity: 750ml approx.
Candle not included.
