At The Last Hurrah, we strongly believe in offering a transparent, detailed and authentic service, that is highly ethical and flexible. To this end, we offer clear choices and pricing, allowing families to choose the elements that work best for the farewell they want. Our structure includes a basic professional services fee (Elementals) and our additional services are separately priced. We offer a free cardboard coffin with every service. We offer intensive support, compassionate and careful assistance that is respectful of all creeds, cultures and subcultures.
For those experiencing financial difficulties
We believe everyone deserves an original send-off that reflects their life on this wild planet. If you are in a situation of financial stress, and cannot afford a funeral, please contact us. We are able to assist you through our philanthropic and goodwill service at a very low cost, or sometimes even for free. We can also offer discounts on certain elements if you cannot afford to pay for everything. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
We offer full funeral services that are completely flexible and include ceremony co-creation with our team of legends. Choose from a simple chapel service, funeral at a venue of your choice, or view packages at our partner venues. All the necessary elements are included.

Intimate funeral at the last hurrah
All the elements of our larger funerals including our assistance with catering, booze, ceremony creation and funeral direction, but in our small and welcoming vigil space. Decorate the space in a way that suits your person.

Memorial and Wake Package

We offer End-of-Life Care including ‘Death Doula’ style support, funeral planning and continuity of non-medical help and support for people living with a terminal illness, choosing Voluntary Assisted Dying or looking at home-death and deathcare.
Your child’s funeral or memorial is your final, tender act of parenting. We can offer specialised help and assistance to families at this incredibly sad and difficult time. Kimba is a trained birth attendant who has assisted many families to navigate pregnancy loss, the death of a baby, and caring for people who have lost a child. Click here to learn more.

TANGI HANGA VIGIL (AT OUR VIGIL SPACE)
An additional offering to the viewing, you and your people can stay the night with your person, sleeping by their coffin and having a deep and connected farewell. (We can provide some cushions and mats, but people will need to bring their own bedroll/bedding)

EXTRAS: *Additional full days are $750 per day, subject to availability.

We offer a smooth and efficient service to get your late legend to wherever they need to go (or receive them from wherever they were) including all mortuary care, documentation, flights and cargo arrangements and lots of moral support!

Limb or BoDY PART FAREWELL
Farewelling a limb or other body part is a complicated process, and there can be mixed feelings. If you want to give that part of yourself a proper dignified send-off, we can help you do that.
