The After Party Funeral Venue

After 7 years and thousands of funerals, we’re so thrilled to have a venue of our own that offers families all the best elements of the different venues we use.

The After Party offers a 300 person venue that also has a flexible layout to create more intimate spaces for smaller gatherings. The beauty of this space is that you can have the ceremony and wake in the one space, with no need for people to travel between venues, and includes an outdoor area for smokers or those needing to take a moment in the garden.

This space offers the flexibility and affordability of a self-catered space for food, with easy access to our caterers, with the ease and simplicity of a catered bar, meaning no need to worry about approving a drinks order prior to the day. There is also space for food trucks or other unique offerings such as a bonfire or outdoor ritual, and includes a chill-out space for families needing a breather. Finally, This space offers a place to show off your sweet hearse by parking inside - this also facilitates easy departures and farewells for the family post ceremony.

Our wholistic care model that includes transfer of your person into our care, natural mortuary care and storage, all legal elements and paperwork and timely and responsive help and support
A personally tailored ceremony for your person by one of our extraordinary in-house arranger/ceremony makers, intensive funeral planning and support with incredible attention to detail across the entire process
A dedicated AV Technician to take care of this aspect on the day from pre-ceremony into the wake
Whole-day TLH Staffing suitable for up to 200 people – above this amount there is a flat $600 for the day

No hire fee: $2500 minimum spend on the bar

Memorial with no deathcare including venue hire and inclusions outlined above: $5000 (up to 200 people)

Direct Cremation & DIY/Wakes at The After Party

For those wanting a simple cremation, followed by an informal gathering with no ceremony or formalities, or if you’d like to DIY and create your own event solo, we can offer you a streamlined package so you can do just that.

Our simple and dignified Direct Cremation offering (NSW-based cremation; VIC cremation is an additional $400)

Self Cater or we can connect you with our excellent and competitively-priced caterers
