Our service is built on the firm intention to offer every person who enters our care the same level of care and dignity, no matter what their send-off looks like. For this reason we offer basic mortuary care, washing and dressing for everyone. Every one of our services includes the initial transfer, mortuary care and storage, all the legal certificates, a cardboard casket, a $100 donation to our philanthropic fund, 24/7 help and support, and invitations to our special annual memorial events.
If you’re having a memorial after your person’s disposition, or there is no deathcare, we have a separate price you’ll see listed with each option.

For those wanting a funeral or memorial, we have a unique pricing system based on the type of venue and send-off you’re wanting - and this is divided into Catered or Self-Catered options - if you choose to have your person present in their coffin and with one of our hearses, that is a simple add-on fee.
We offer intensive support, compassionate and careful assistance that is respectful of all creeds, cultures and subcultures.
For those experiencing financial difficulties…
We believe everyone deserves to be cared for with respect after death. If you are in a situation of financial stress, and cannot afford a funeral, please contact us. We may be able to assist you through our philanthropic and goodwill service at a very low cost, or sometimes even for free. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

Send-Offs With The Last Hurrah
At the heart of our way of farewelling people is the desire to keep everyone together in one place as much as possible. The traditional format of having to drive between locations isolates people and loses the momentum and energy of keeping everyone together. For this reason we aim to keep any ceremony or service and the wake to follow in the one location.
We work with so many different venues and are always happy to go somewhere new, set up at your home, on a farm, by the beach or hunt down somewhere unique that fits your person best.
We break our pricing into Catered or Self-Catered options to keep things clear and simple when you’re considering a venue. For people on a tight budget we have some terrific options in our Farewell on the Green Packages.
Catered Venues
At a catered venue we arrive early to set the space in a format that best suits the nature of the day, and our dedicated AV tech ensures everything is working smoothly and sounding great. Our team welcomes your guests, usually with a welcome drink and our incredible ceremony-makers guide everything through a service that your person would approve of.
If your late legend is present in their coffin, at the close of the ceremony they are taken to the hearse and everyone waves them off before rolling into the wake.

Self-Catered Venues
quite sure we’re the only funeral company that offers this unique way of sending off your person. In this model we assist you with every aspect of creating a memorable send-off, and we stay for the whole day. Prior to the day we help you to decide on what sort of catering you want (we partner with the amazing Fabulous Catering, but also support pot-luck style events and any other catering you might desire). We also put together a Dan Murphys order for booze and a Woolies order for other drinks, approve it with you, and pick it up, chill it, transport it and serve it on the day. We also provide tea, coffee, milks, compostable party-ware and some catering ware.
We set up the entire space, and our dedicated AV tech ensures everything is working smoothly and sounding great. Our team welcomes your guests, usually with a welcome drink and our incredible ceremony-makers guide everyone through a service that your person would approve of.
If your late legend is present in their coffin, at the close of the ceremony they are taken to the hearse and everyone waves them off before rolling into the wake. At that point our team morph from funeral directors to hospitality staff, ensuring the wake is smooth, the drinks flow and the food is served, before cleaning up and even removing rubbish at the end.
Although costs may seem higher at the outset, compared with a catered venue, most people find this model works out cheaper or on par, and offers ultimate flexibility with venue choice and location. This option includes home funerals.
Costs depend on the number of people attending, as outlined below, and include all basic inclusions as outlined above.

Up to 150 people: $9150.00
Above 150 people: $9600.00
For major events such as a farm festival, events over 300 people, or large outdoor events an additional fee of $650 applies
Memorial with no deathcare: Simply subtract $3300 off the prices listed above.
This is for send offs where the person previously had their disposition, when a person has donated their body, or where you want to have some time between a disposition and a memorial.

Ask us about our selection of Outdoor/Indoor Self Catered Venues - so you can plan for a glorious send-off on a beautiful day, but have a fallback in case of stormy weather.
Farewells on The Green
you’re on a tighter budget, but want to have a Last Hurrah – this is a perfect option for you. Have your person’s send off at a bowling club or one of our specially selected ‘cool’ RSL’s – they provide the bar service, we create ceremony and a warm welcome, and our dedicated AV tech ensures everything is working smoothly and sounding great. Fabulous catering supply a fantastic grazing table – other catering options also available!
If your late legend is present in their coffin (not available at all venues), at the close of the ceremony they are taken to the hearse and everyone waves them off before rolling into the wake. We stay until the wake is in full swing, then depart.

If you're looking to have a full funeral service, but would like to keep it simple, low-key, and affordable, choosing a chapel funeral is an ideal way to send off your person.

We’ll Go Almost Anywhere…
We love an adventure, a challenge, and really nailing a brief, so if you have an idea for a send-off that isn’t mentioned here just drop us a line for a yarn.
It’s true that we don’t go to churches (but clergy can come to us), and if you’re trying to cram 300 people in a space meant for 150, we’ll definitely offer you some kind guidance, but we certainly do love something authentic, unique and off the plan!
End of Life & Continuity of Care
We offer End-of-Life Care including ‘Death Doula’ style support, funeral planning and continuity of non-medical help and support for people living with a terminal illness, choosing Voluntary Assisted Dying or looking at home-death and deathcare. You can also call for a chat about any aspect of the end-of-life experience; we’re here to help, no strings attached.
