The Jade Dragon Urn
Found in an Osaka market, sold from the hands of a man who looked like he walked out of a Yakuza film and very much did not want to part with it, this jade vessel carries a weight that goes beyond its cool, luminous green.
Crowned by a lounging dragon, it hums with an ancient confidence. Ornate rings dangle like earrings of a beast that’s been worshipped, feared, and maybe slightly amused by it all.
The mystery of what it once held, it now carries a new legacy: yours, plus one reluctant dragon and a possibly cursed blessing from a stranger in a temple.
We recommend storing a small portion of ashes, in a zip lock bag inside a calico bag, with the lid resting on top.
Dimensions: H17cmx W19cm
Capacity: 300ml approx.
The Last Hurrah’s Antique Vessels range are locally and internationally sourced urns, found in the deepest, dustiest corners of antique bazaars, vintage stores and local markets. Offering something original and unique to inhabit for their final vessel on this earth.
